Review: Room 666 - #Book 10- The Last Resort Motel Series - Geri Glenn - October 2018

Shelby's life is crap and she has had enough, especially when she learns her mother has stolen her college fund /escape town fund and brought drugs/alcohol and gambled everything away with her latest horrible boyfriend of the month. This is the last resort for her and so she packs up everything and leaves with no solid plan in mind. Shelby ends up hitchhiking and after a few bad drivers, she finds herself being picked up by a van of people around her age. They look slightly familiar and are part of a ghost hunting TV Show. She seems to click with them all especially with Garratt - the host. However, Veronica - the only other female on the team isn't happy about Shelby joining them. The group is headed to a ghost town to film and setting up camp at The Last Resort Motel owned by Aurora and Max. The group goes to the ghost town and they learn that the owner of the ghost town was a cult leader - a bit like Jim Jones from Jonestown and now Shelby has seemed to have attracted his spirit as it follows her back to the Motel. Can the Ghost Hunting team exorcise the evil spirit following Shelby or will he try to make Shelby his next ghostly victim? I have enjoyed this series and is sad to see it come to an end as have loved the different adventures each novel and room brings.
