With Valentine's Day coming up, this is a cute read for children aged 3-6 years old as it is a fun cute picture book and who doesn't love dogs, especially at that age.  The story starts with Cindi's owner dressing up and dancing around and roses and candles. She wonders what the day is as it can't be Christmas again already. It turns out it is Valentine's Day. Cindi's owners are really in the holiday spirit and decide to dress Cindi and her BFF Pitty Pat in cute little pet outfits. Cindi and Pitty Pat think they look ridiculous and are embarrassed as their owner parades them through their small town.  There is a new dog next door named Chip and he wants his own Valentine in the form of Cindi. Can Chip surprise Cindi with a little Valentine gift of her own turn her into a lover of Valentine's Day and change her mind about the sappy love stories? Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
