Lulu and the Missing Tooth Fairy

Review: Lulu and the Missing Tooth Fairy - S.E Richey - January 2022

This was such an adorable book and I loved the illustrations from John Ortiz as well. This book is perfect for those girls who also love fairies. In Lulu and the Missing Tooth Fairy by SE Richey, we meet Lulu who is so excited as she has finally lost her first tooth and can't wait for her first visit from the tooth fairy and to get some money which she dreams she can buy a pony. Lulu places her tooth under her pillow but will get a sad feeling when she discovers the tooth fairy hasn't been yet. Meanwhile, we meet the tooth fairy who is busy training and Lulu is her final test till she can become a fully-fledged tooth fairy but she is having trouble with her address finder and it is sending her all over the place as Lulu's address gets confused and sends her to Mexico instead of the United States. In Mexico, we meet the Mexican version of the tooth fairy known as El Ratoncito Perez who is a Mouse that collects baby teeth from under the pillow. At the end of the book, we see another case which sets up Book #2 as the address finder sends the tooth fairy to France by mistake and we meet the French tooth fairy aka Le Petite Souris which again is surprisingly another mouse-like creature. Lulu and the Missing Tooth Fairy by SE Richey are perfect for readers aged 5-8 years old.
