Review: The Real Score - Book#1 Gezellig Series - Kesh Tangalo - August 2013

The Band Gezellig is big all around the world and their next stop on the world tour is in the Philippines. Caitlin and her best friend work in the world of PR and Caitlin's best friend is one of their biggest fans and has managed to secure two VIP tickets to their concert which also includes a pre Meet and Greet session. At the session, Caitlin ends up falling backwards and into band member Marcus and so begins the start of a friendship which Marcus enjoys as he knows that Caitlin likes him for just him and not for being one of the band. Over the next two years, the two will become best friends emailing back and forward and having Caitlin known as "B" as she doesn't want to be pulled into the limelight which is his world. This won't last long though as the fans figure out who "B" is and Caitlin is chucked headfirst into Marcus's world. But being chucked in, will it lead to some dangerous consequences which will see their solid friendship ruined ? Can Caitlin with the help of Marcus's friends and hers , help them both realise that they are meant to be together and this is "The Real Score"?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
