VBT# Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush - Victoria Pinder

First off , as I am a cover crusher - I loved this cover of the book and that's what drew me to it. I however was about to be surprised as I assumed that it was just another run of the mill New Adult romance story with that whole Cinderella feel to it but inside the beautiful cover provided readers with a little bit more and some twists and turns. In Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush we meet Jay who is now a big time businessman and dating a range of plastic fantastic or in this case those women who appear to be fake. When a deal which could cost him a lot of money comes up , he sets up a meeting - the thing is though that this guy is big on morals and values and if Jay turns up with what the guy calls a "fake woman" the deal will fall through and Jay would risk losing millions. Enter Penny , she has just moved back to her hometown after being away at College and is looking for a job and somewhere to live and runs into Jay at a coffee shop. Penny is the exact girl that Jay needs for this deal to work and he plans on getting Penny to agree no matter what the costs are. Soon Penny agrees and moves into her new apartment - one she rooms with Jay and the two begin their deal. During this novel , we pick up glimpses that Jay and his parents didn't have the best of relationships and it's during the middle to the end of the novel that we see what his parents are capable of. Just as Penny and Jay are starting to fall into a pattern of a proper romance, tragedy strikes leaving Penny to wonder what she has gotten herself into. Will she take the easy way out and leave as Jay has given her a choice or will she be strong and courageous and prove to Jay that no matter what happens she is his forever ?

If you are in the mood for a contemporary New Adult romance with a twist, then check out Favorite Coffee, Favorite Crush by Victoria Pinder.
