Review: Prom Wrecked - T.H Hernandez and Jennifer DiGiovanni - May 2019
Riley Hart is the type of
girl who likes to have everything organized and be on all the committees and
help where she can but doesn't want to be the one in charge. She would rather
be in the background and not the face of it all. That is until she is called
into the principal's office and given an ultimatum to either help save the Prom
or for the first time in the history of their high school it is canceled. Riley
calls on the help of her friends and frenemies to join the prom committee, but
as they go along trying to save the Prom and get everything organized, it looks
like someone is out to sabotage it. First, they lose the money for their venue
and then every time they think they have a handle on something going well for
the Prom - the minute they turn their backs it has been destroyed, and they are
back to square one. This happens for most of the book until they manage to
secure an excellent venue and dates etc. but of course what's a wrecked prom
without mayhem and chaos as this will definitely for Riley and her friends be a
night they will never forget. Prom Wrecked was one of those fun YA novels that
reminded me of Jennifer Lynn Barnes Little White Lies.
