Lead Player (The Everyday Heroes World)

Review: Lead Player - #Everyday Heroes World - Alex Grayson - August 2020
I have to admit I haven't read any of K.Bromberg's books so I was unfamiliar with the world that this Everyday Heroes was set in. I have now added her to my list to read and catch-up on her books. I was drawn to this book by the hunky rockstar on the cover and I also liked the sound of the blurb. The book starts at a bar where our main female lead Alaina is out with her friends looking for a hunky guy to have a one night stand with- no strings attached. She spots a hot guy at the other end of the bar - Enzo. The pair give each other fake names and have a wild intense and passionate night of sex and go their separate ways. The next morning hungover Alaina is off with her friends to go skydiving and is about to meet her friend's fiance's best friend aka the Best Man. Imagine her surprise when it turns out to be the guy she had a one night stand with an even bigger surprise for her when she clicks she just slept with a famous rockstar. We learn that Enzo is ready to leave the Rock N Roll lifestyle behind and it looks like he has his eyes set on Alaina being the girl to help him do just that. Is Alaina though ready to settle down and be in a relationship and with someone who has fame and baggage? Find out in this cutesy romance love story - Lead Player by Alex Grayson.
