Review: Beautifully Wicked - Jordan Grant

Beautifully Wicked: A High School Bully Romance (Voclain Academy Book One)

Review: Beautifully Wicked - #Book One - Voclain Academy Series - Jordan Grant - August 2020

Harlow's grandparents have just won the lottery and now part of the money has been put towards Harlow's education and now she is thrust into the world of the rich and wealthy, the old blue blood, and the new money. Harlow doesn't know anyone but her roommate Molly and so she tries to befriend Molly. The thing though is that Molly has a reputation and everyone who befriends Molly ends up an outcast - it's just part of the rules as a few years ago Molly was popular and dating one of the elites and then tragedy happened and they blamed Molly for it, never hearing what happened that fateful night. The boys decided to write a list of rules and make Molly pay for her actions as if they couldn't have their friend back, they would make her life hell and not worth living. Harlow though isn't one to abide by rules and she will be friends with who she wants and isn't about to roll over for them. Ian Beckett though wants Harlow for himself as does a couple of other elite guys and will try and make her choose aside. What happens though when he learns that she is different and not one to fold just like that to his beck and call. I liked Beautifully Wicked as loved Harlow's quick wit and her sense of humor.  Now and again in the world of bullymance, you come across a diamond series - one that stands out. Jordan Grant's series was an amazing start and one I will be continuing with as I also loved the added twist of Molly's life and what happened while she was away the year after the accident.
