Review: Sixth Grave on the Edge - Book #6 Charley Davidson Series - Darynda Jones - May 2014
Can't believe that it's been six books now since I started reading all about Charley Davidson , this series is so funny and if you love Stephanie Plum then Charley with the added bonus of having supernatural abilities is the woman for you. In Sixth Grave , we read as Charley is working her PI magic out by staking The Fosters family and nope, it's not the ones we see on TV but Reyes supposedly human family but with a twist we are about to discover that goes beyond just Reyes's human family as the Charley we know likes to find herself in messy situations. Sixth Grave follows Cookie on her dating escapades , Reyes trying to get Charley to say Yes to his wedding proposal , Cookie's daughter Amber starts to take some not-so-good actions from the pages of her mother's and Charley's books and of course it wouldn't be a Charley Davidson book without Charley stumbling into something dangerous and deadly and in this case it involves a pack of Demons who have come from Hell and are stealing or winning in poker games human souls for entertainment. Ever wondered about Angel and how he became a ghost ? We find out is origins in Sixth Grave and readers be prepared to have some tissues on you as you read the last couple of chapters of Sixth Grave as you will not only be biting your nails as you turn the pages but your hearts may sink just a little bit as you fill with certain emotions. I shall leave it here and my parting words are "Hurry up October, I want Book #7".
