Review: Tarnished Hero - Book #2 Pelican Cray Series - Tara Mills - May 2014

Looking for a quick romantic read ? Tarnished Hero is then the book for you and readers, it can be read as a stand-alone if you have not read Book #1. In Book #2 Tarnished Hero, we meet Hero Hernandez who is a bit of a player and is currently sleeping with ex-model and rich society material Marguerite and all is well until one morning , he steps out of the shower to find someone younger sitting on the bed , someone closer to his age as it turns out Marguerite has a daughter called Danica aka Dani to all her friends and the instant meeting between Dani and Hero sparks something as these two tend to be more connected than an average one night stand as after they sleep together, he can't stop thinking about her. However is this just a summer fling as Dani is heading places and deserves more than Hero can give her or has Dani got other plans up her sleeve that might just concern Hero more than he realised ?

It's time for serial killer time to strike again with Sean Slater's new Detective Jacob Striker novel out titled with the same name as a popular children's game "Snakes and Ladders". Review: Snakes and Ladders - Detective Jacob Striker Book #2 - Sean Slater - March 2012 It's amazing how much a cover can get you to read a book and then you discover, well I actually like this author as I picked up Sean Slater's first book "The Survivor" due to the fact that the cover had a hockey mask and reminded me of Friday the 13th and I really enjoyed the novel as well as the fact it was a school shooting which for some reason I enjoy reading about as it fascinates me ( just to add - I'm not pyschotic LOL) .
