Review: Hidden Falls - Episode #9- A Fair Refuge - Olivia Newport - March 2014

It's the day of the annual Hidden Falls Health Fair, a day where Quinn was supposed to be the main organiser , but with his disappearance - Lauren set out and with hard work and the community's involvement she has managed to pull it off. Unlike the other books , this one is mainly set in the middle of town at the local Health Fair where all the members of the community are out and about doing their thing. It seems though , that everyone involved in the search for Quinn will reveal their clues and I have to say compared to what everyone else has found -it made me really wonder what Cooper and the Sheriff's office is up to. Sylvia finally opened Quinn's box and we learn what she discovered and is their truth to her mother Emma's ramblings about two babies during the Depression years and is the story related to Quinn's research at the Graveyard ? Can Nicole and Ethan decipher what Quinn's notations mean and Lauren finally gets an answer or at least a nudge about who has been leaving her strange messages. Can Liam enlist the help of Cooper with his financial problems and will the town of Hidden Falls survive the night when tragedy strikes ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
