Review: Born at Midnight - C.C Hunter
Review: Born at Midnight - Book #1 Shadow Falls - C.C Hunter - March 2011
One night can change everything , after the day from hell when her parents announced they were getting a divorce and her dad leaving without her and not to mention her boyfriend Trey had dumped her for someone who would "put out". Kylie decided it was time to let off some steam and what better place than a party that her best friend Sara had convinced her to attend. Little did she know though was that this party was going to get busted by the cops and Kylie would find herself hauled to the police station. Apparently this incident causes Kylie's parents to freak out and they send her off to a Summer Camp called Shadow Falls. When Kylie arrives though , she is in for a sure surprise as this camp isn't for the normal kind but for supernaturals and teens with special gifts. All Kylie knows is that she isn't like them , but what happens when she discovers inklings and memories from her past and things just don't add up to what she knows or has been told ? What aren't they telling Kylie though when the big guys in suits seem interested in her ? Also in Born at Midnight , Kylie gets a blast from her past when she comes face to face with her childhood friend Lucas Parker and turns out he is in fact a werewolf.
If you are a fan of the paranormal/supernatural world and love those boarding school/camp stories, then Shadow Falls by C.C Hunter is the series for you and as I continue with this series - I am eager to learn more about Kylie and her gifts.
