Review: All He Wants - Book #2 Annika and Stuart Series - Anna Cruise - August 2014

Like most of the books on my e-reader, I have them from a long time ago as what happens is that I grab them and then new books come along and in the process, these get lost as new books shove them further and further down my kindle. The first book in this series I read back in February 2015 - over four years ago. A quick recap of that book had Annika falling for Stuart whom she met in Brazil on a humanitarian trip. It had started as a fling but there were sparks and a connection which as we know Annika isn't normally the type to have any connections with the opposite sex besides a quick wham bam thank you, ma'am, and next as she rotates a list of sexual conquests through her bed. Stuart is special though and makes Annika want to be a better person. In All He Wants, the book starts off with Annika getting her shots to go to Brazil and be with Stuart, that is until she breaks out in massive hives the next day as she has had an allergic reaction to the vaccines. Looking like she does and yes, Annika still had an air of superficialness and shallow to her, she ends up canceling the trip. This leads to Stuart making a surprise visit to Annika. He decides to take her to where he grew up, but all won't be full of rainbows and unicorns as a blast from Stuart's past arrives and according to Stuart's parents they are close to engagement status. Hurt and rejected, Annika heads back home but can Stuart prove to her that he loves her and is Stuart "the one" that will help Annika become a better person and not the character we have loved to hate in the previous books including her twin's stories Abby and West series.
