#VBT - Capture - Penny Reid

Part #2 finished off with Martin and Kaitlyn's amazing week together being ripped apart by Kaitlyn's mother when she discovered who Martin's father was. The two separated and drifted further apart. During this time Kaitlyn decided to drop her Chemistry Major and take up Music and in order to pay for school, she has taken on a job as a piano player in a band. During this time , she does whatever she can to forget Martin and move on, but things aren't that easy especially when Martin pops back into Kaitlyn's life and it seems that there is still some unresolved issues between the two of them and that deep down, though it might have just been one week - the pair of them still connected deeply and care so much for one another. I did hope that their relationship would have progressed a little more in this book but I do understand that they had both been burned in the past , that they decided to slow things down a bit and this time around - they weren't going to let anyone in the way of them being together . Despite overcoming family issues and overbearing parents, can Martin and Kaitlyn find their ways back to each other in order to make themselves both whole again ? One of my favourite parts in this book is at the beginning where Kaitlyn is describing the five stages of grief to Sam using Chemistry as the an analogies.
If you love New Adult College Fiction and what I love to call Geek Chic Lit , then you will fit right at home with Part #3 of the Elements of Chemistry series "Capture" by Penny Reid.
