Review: Raveling You - Jessica Sorensen
Review: Raveling You - Book #2 Unraveling You Series - Jessica Sorensen - January 2015
As readers will know the last few months, I have been stuck in this weird reading rut where I am finding it hard to get into any books and so I have decided to go back to early books on my kindle and read some of my older titles. One of the go-to authors that I have always loved her books and I know that I will read and enjoy them is Jessica Sorensen. She is one of the OG NA authors before the market became saturated. At the end of Book #1, we read as Felix - Ayden's older brother was killed and now in Book #2, the police are eager to get Ayden's help and to find the cult that they believe is involved. The thing is though that Ayden has blocked those memories tight away and has amnesia from that time. The police suggested hypnotherapy and now his memories are causing issues of sleepwalking and panic attacks. Lyric Scott, is in love with her best friend Ayden and wants to be there for him - but with him unable to handle her touch, will he let her in. She's not going anywhere but will she be able to handle his moods and being shut out? We also saw glimpses of Lyric's parents' background which those who read earlier books the Ella and Micha series will remember what they were like as teenagers and young adults. Like the first book, this one ends in a cliffhanger that has readers going OMG and now I can't wait to get stuck in Book #3 Awakening You as it looks like we are going to find out more about Sadie - Ayden's sister and the Cult.
