Review: Royal Kiss - Royals of Monterra Kindle Worlds Series - Jennifer Chance - January 2017

Based on Sariah Wilson's series Royals of Monterra, she decided to put a call out on Kindle Worlds and have a select few authors writing in the world of Monterra and their Royal family. If you are looking for a quick read, then Royal Kiss is the read for you. This morning I started with a mystery novel which ended up being a DNF and then still wanted something to read, so I didn't feel unsatisfied at my weekend morning reading time. I scrolled through to Royal Kiss as just last weekend I read Royal Date which was the first book in the OG Royals of Monterra series. Royal Kiss introduces us to Anna who is the ambassador's daughter and Paolo De Gosta who is in line to be the next Duke of Monterra. Ten years ago, Anna came to the palace and ended up sharing a romantic kiss and then after that she got embarrassed and her life fell apart. She rejected all correspondence from the Palace until now. Anna and her best friend Grace are attending the wedding of Paolo's sister Rosa. Ten years ago, Paolo shared a kiss with Anna and tried to explain and she never wrote back. Now ten years ago, he still feels the same for her and will make sure this time he won't let her go without him telling her how he feels and loves her.
Does Anna feel the same now ten years later as Paolo? The other thing I do love about this series is that each of the books is also clean romances, which is nice to enjoy for a change in an often-sexed world of romance books. Find out in this quick royalty read set in the world of the Royals of Monterra by Jennifer Chance.
