The Art of Letting Go (Broken Roses)

Review: The Art of Letting Go - #Broken Roses Series - Esme Wolfe-  March 2021

This is a series; I have slowly been getting through in between reading lots of other books as you do. Like the others in this series, The Art of Letting Go is a quick read as it is written as a novella. The book starts with our female artist Aimee who has lost everything in a fire when her now ex-husband tried to kill her when he locked her in their house and set it on fire. Wanting a fresh start away and going where no one knows her, she settles into a small town and a house away from the world. The house is perfect as came furnished and belonged to a former artist of the town. This is a chance for Aimee, to release her pain -the only way she knows how - on a fresh piece of canvas. Through her journey, Aimee will not only find her way back to her love of painting but also strip away the persona she had created for her ex-husband - Aimee will finally be the person she was before him and in doing so, will catch the attention of the town's most eligible bachelor who will realize that Aimee is the first woman who has liked him for him and not for his money or the fact that he is the richest person in town.  The Art of Letting Go had romantic suspense feel with Aimee's past but also with her new life the sense of a sweet second chance romance.
