Review: Dating Mr. Dil - Nisha Sharma

Review: Dating Dr. Dil - Book #1 If Shakespeare was an Auntie - Nisha Sharma - March 2022

To clear my physical bookshelf as I had 412 unread books sitting on it, I have been alternating between my physical books and my ebooks. Dating Dr. Dil was one of the books that had been sitting on my bookshelf and I was looking forward to it as I had read a couple of Desi-American reads and I loved the humor as well as the culture in the books. Kareena aka Rina is the eldest daughter in her family and took after her mother, when her mother died - she felt alone and now she has turned 30 years old and her whole world is crashing. Her grandmother and father have decided to sell her mother's house and move away and her younger sister is getting married the family expects Kareena to do everything for her at the drop of the hat otherwise she is called "selfish" and to top it off they have forgotten her 30th birthday. Kareena now has four months to save up enough and try and find the money for the house if she can, then her father will sell it to her. Meanwhile, Prem, a doctor turned TV celebrity had a great night with Kareena - the first he had since his fiancee passed away. Things turned out not so great as he left her hanging when he got an SOS text from his family. When the pair are reunited on television, they end up having a massive argument which goes viral and now Prem's career is on the edge.  They both need finances and fast so when the families offer them a bribe for what they both want in life and the condition is they need to date someone and fall in love, it is the perfect opportunity except of course, Kareena is all about love and romance and not arrangments and contracts. Can Prem prove his love to Kareena so they both can achieve their dreams and goals and eventually end up with their HEAs? Find out in this great read by Nisha Sharma - Dating Dr. Dil.
