Review: Insurgent - Veronica Roth

Did you read "Divergent" by Veronica Roth and loved it ?
Be Prepared to read Book #2 Insurgent

Review: Insurgent - Book #2 Divergent Series - Veronica Roth - May 2012
As a big reader, one of my annoying things is that there are so many awesome books out there to read, that I never find the time to read the ones I should be or I go to read it and something comes up and then it takes me a while to get to it. This is what happened with Insurgent as I have had it for over a year to read and have only got around to reading it today at work. Insurgent takes us back into the world and lives of the factions and main characters Four and Tris. However in Insurgent we discover Four's real name is Tobias and his father is one of the high leaders of the Faction Umbrella - Marcus Eaton. With one of the factions destroyed - the Erudite's , it is read that the other groups are starting to band together as one but can all the factions live together in harmony or do the leaders within the groups have something else planned as told to children as a fairytale were myths of those out there called Divergents who had the ability to slip into either of two factions , they had special powers and were dangerous creatures.  Now Divergents have come to light and someone is hunting them which includes Four and Tris and needing them to be the frontline of the wars against factions. Can Tris and Four once again save those they love and help keep themselves out of trouble with deaths, gunshot wounds and stabbing galore ? What I did love about this book was the last chapter with Tris's Mother Edith Prior and revealing her True identity- that was a definite OMG moment and now I cannot wait to read Book #3 which comes out in August :)
