VBT# Nowhere to Hide - Nina D'Angelo

Today's VBT# stop is the fabulous Nina D'Angelo and the second book in her Stephanie Carovella Series "Nowhere to Hide".

Review: Nowhere to Hide - Book#2 Stephanie Carovella Series - Nina D'Angelo - August 2013

#First up , as the author is a good friend of mine - this is just a short and sweet disclaimer that this review does not contain bias and was written purely on the content of the book.

Wow, Nina D'Angelo has done it again just like that McCain's Veggie ad - Ahh , they have done it again. Stephanie and the remaining of her gang are back and this time they are not only stronger but more fragile as new killers are on the loose. The novel starts with a girl named Holly being killed in her car and then the reader's discover that in Chapter One - that Stephanie knew the girl and once again - another crime site is linked to Stephanie.  To make matters worse , just because she hasn't doubt with so much death and lost those she loves in her life, Nowhere to Hide is back and better and going to strike her a lot harder as old friends and acquaintances are among those in the body count list. In Nowhere to Hide, one of the killers we read is known as the JCK aka Jesus Christ Killer. This is the killer that killed Stephanie's parents twenty years ago and for some reason he left her alive. The reason will be found out in the book - but not to spoil this amazing story that I could rave on and on and on about - I will let you read it and discover for yourself.  What I will say though is that as a lover of this genre, I have read many books and some are blah and boring , others are good and then there are some that will blow your mind and Nowhere to Hide is one of those, maybe even more so than Book #1 Nowhere to Run.  I personally found this one to be far more intense, thrilling and really had you living the cliched saying "on the seat of your pants". Nowhere to Hide also managed to bring out the emotions of sadness as in one part I felt my eyes welling as Nina described Stephanie's feelings and pain and the last line people will have you going not "I want more, but I NEED MORE".
If you love Crime , Serial Killers, Murder, Pyschological fiction and a fast-gripping novel then what are you waiting for - head now and purchase your copy of Nowhere to Hide. This is definitely one of those self-publishing gems.
