VBT# The Solitude of Passion - Addison Moore

Today's VBT# stop is Addison Moore's new book out "The Solitude of Passion".

Review: The Solitude of Passion - Addison Moore - August 2013

Once upon a time as most of these books go there was one girl and two boys , the two boys were the best of friends and they both equally loved the girl more than anything in the world. The downside though of course, unless you believe in sister wives is the simple fact that the girl now a woman had to choose whom she would marry. One of the boys now Men would get her hand in marriage, the other would have to stand on the sidelines and settle for whatever came his way. In The Solitude of Passion - that girl was called Lee and the two boys were called Mitch and Max. Fast forward to adult age and the one who won Lee's hand in marriage was Mitch. Pregnant with Mitch's baby, Lee wishes Mitch would stay home but when business calls - Mitch takes off to China. Lee waits but tragedy strikes and Mitch doesn't return home. Standing on the sidelines is Max and soon Max takes Mitch's position with Lee and so a few more years pass and Max is married to Lee and another year passes and Max and Lee have a son named Eli.
Then Five years pass and out of the blue, Mitch arrives back - he isn't dead . What will happen now when Lee's past and her present collide ? Who will she choose and run too - the husband she thought was dead or the father of her son and her current husband ?
When faced with a life-changing decision - what will Lee choose ?
The Solitude of Passion was an intense read and reminded me of the movie Pearl Harbour starring Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett as in a way it was a similiar storyline.
A great read for those who enjoy lost-love stories and edgy content.
