Review: Outlaw - Book #1.5 Wanted Series - Amanda Lance - March 2014

Charlie is a career criminal , so much it makes sense that it has all the alliteration in place and Andie happened to be the good samaritan type when she accidentally witnesses a truck hijacking and soon finds herself kidnapped by the hijackers. In Wanted we read as Charlie and Andie get close , though despite their warnings against each other as really she could compromise everything that Charlie has ever achieved and should Andie really be falling for the bad boy ? 
Outlaw is the novella that tells the story of Andie and Charlie in a bit more detail and all about how their lives both got turned upside down the day that Andie witnessed Charlie and his team hijacking the truck. 
 This is one of those love stories where the good girl falls for the bad boy despite dire warnings and the obvious flashing lights which scream " DANGER: THIS BOY IS BAD AND EVER SO WRONG FOR YOU".
 If you are still loving the whole good girl falls for her captor- a romance filled story which of course really almost hinders on a case of Stockholm syndrome , though because we as readers all love a great love story , an almost Cinderella tale we bypass that scenario and revel in a New Adult Gritty love story filled with Bad Boys and Tattoos. 
 This book could be read as a stand-alone but will probably be better read and understood if you have read Book #1 Wanted.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
