VBT# Rock N Roll Princesses Wear Black - Kelly Polark

Review: Rock N Roll Princesses Wear Black - Kelly Polark - March 2014

Stefani Lucas's family loves Rock "N" Roll and in her family wearing black is nothing to be ashamed of and does not mean you are a "Goth Girl" or weird as Rock N Roll chicks wear black. Stefani though is getting teased and bullied by the other girls in her class as they think she should wear some colours , but what will happen though when she does try and it all backfires with things turning terribly wrong. Though about halfway through the novel, Stefani will get a surprise when she discovers that the girls all want to dress like her cousin Gina after Stefani's dad plays a gig at her school. This was a clean tween read and shows girls that it doesn't matter what you wear as long as you are being yourself that's all that matters. Rock N Roll Princesses wear Black also touches on the topic of Peer Pressure.
Rock N Roll Princesses Wear Black by Kelly Polark was a nice easy read and if you are wanting something that you don't have to go too deep into , then check this out now and adults - yes it is alright for you every now and again to check out some tween fiction.
