Review: Love Me Anyway - Book #1 Passions in the Park Series - JL Redington - November 2013

Are you a fan of serial killer stories but also have a yearning for romance in your books ? If so, then you will enjoy Passions in the Park Book #1 Love Me Anyway as we meet Park Ranger Greyson whose baby is the Denali Forest Park where he works, it is his pride and joy and his life. When campers phone in something odd out in the woods ,a wooden sealed casket his flags go up immediately as recently there have been several murders including national parks and wooden caskets. Known as only the Evergreen Killer, he has struck females mostly runaways , killed them and placed them inside a wooden coffin that he has built and leaves them for somebody to discover. Unsure of what they are dealing with the FBI arrives with their criminal profiler Aspen. Now Aspen reminded me of the character Bones as she has no manners but it isn't that she is necessary rude she is just so concentrated on her job. Greyson, though does not have any happiness for people who don't use manners and will soon put Aspen in her spot after she treats him and his men bad. What happens though that after time , the pair discover that they really aren't that different people ? Can this pair not only solve the crime and discover who the killer is but also find passion and their soulmate ?
As I like my mysteries quite fast-paced , this book started off getting really really good and then about 3/4 the way through it lost a bit of it's momentum which is why I am rating it a 3 instead of a 4.
Find out in Love Me Anyway by JL Redington, Book #1 in The Passions in the Park series - the perfect combination of Romance and Murder Suspense.
