However, life isn't all that it is cracked up to be as with changing and becoming who she wanted to be, she has had to leave a life and people she loved behind. Gwendolyn's real name is Genevieve De La Roche and is the granddaughter of French Wine Matriarch and with that comes wealth and keeping up appearances. Having enough with that lifestyle and never fitting in , with the help of her Grandmother she adopts a new identity , a shop and a place to live as well as her trust fund which she withdrew all immediately. Now Gwen has been given a chance of a lifetime to have her pieces displayed in an art gallery, but with this comes publicity and Gwen cannot afford to be found. What happens though when a nosy reporter wants to go digging and discovers the truth of Gwen , just as her Grandmother has passed as well and it has come to light that Gwen's grandmother has left her some shares in the family fortune. Is this the push that Gwen needs to finally stop running from her past and stand up to her family or will it cause her to run again ?
Find out in Book #4 of the Laurel Heights Series , this was a fun contemporary romance with a bit of suspense to it and definitely worth reading.
