Review: Shameless - Book #1 Nashville Nights - Cheryl Douglas - February 2012

Being in Nashville last week was awesome and that got me wanting to read this book as I was so excited after spending time in this part of the States. It was like I was at home as I love my country music and here I was COUNTRY CENTRAL. Reading this book and having experienced Nashville just made the book more real and enjoyable.  In Shameless we meet husband and wife Sierra and Trey. At the beginning of the novel , we read as they are having marriage problems and Sierra has had enough of being by herself in anything and asks for a divorce. That night, Trey gets wasted and makes another big mistake which will cause him to become another damaged soul - more damaged than he originally was. The novel then flashes I think five years on and Trey is still big in Music but having one night stands and being your typical country rock star and Sierra is now in charge of her own charity helping families who have lost a child as her and Trey did years ago. The pair of them meet up again and though Sierra is engaged to another man, they can't deny that the chemistry between them is still as strong as ever. Can Trey prove to Sierra that he isn't the same guy he was five years ago and that he still loves her ? With the help of family and friends , Trey will have to pull out all the stops to prove and show Sierra that he is the guy she should be with . Can Trey stop Sierra from marrying her fiance before it's too late to say no ?
Find out in Book #1 of this awesome series which I am looking forward to reading the remainder of.
Fans of Nashville and Country music as well as Contemporary romance lovers will enjoy.
