Review: Six Months Later - Natalie D. Richards
Review: Six Months Later - Natalie D. Richards- October 2013
Did you enjoy the movies 17 Again and 13 going on 30 ? The movies where you wake up and you are a different age and have no recollection of what has happened ? For me that's what the book Six Months Later by Natalie Richards reminded me of as the story starts with Chloe , struggling with her GPA and SAT scores heading to the library to study after saving her best friend Maggie from being teased. Then she falls asleep and when she wakes up it's six months later, six months have passed and she has no recollection of what has taken place or the events that have happened. When Chloe wakes up, she discovers that she is dating her school crush - Blake , somehow scored higher than she should have on the SATS and has feelings for Adam - a guy she had never previously spoken to and strangely she is no longer friends with Maggie . As the story goes along , we discover that something odd is happening and it has everything to do with Chloe's study group. When Chloe starts to feel her life in danger , who can she turn to ? Can Chloe convince Maggie to give her another chance ? Can she prove to her that the past six months have been a nasty blur ?
Find out in this awesome pyschological teen thriller "Six Months Later". This book reminded me of a cross between the books "The Raising" by Laura Kaisischke and "Red Leaves, The Girl in Times Square" by Paulina Simons.
