Review: The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone - Adele Griffin
Review: The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone - Adele Griffin - August 2014
When I opened the pages of this book, I didn't know what to expect as I thought I was just in for a new teen novel . What I got though was a story based on an actual life person , a seventeen-year old girl named Addison Stone who had come to New York to be an amazing artist, wherever Addison Stone went she left an amazing and unforgettable impression on those around her. She was rising on her way to become one of New York's best Street Artists until her life was tragically cut short and soon became a murder trial and investigation inquest as some believed that she had been murdered by one of her two boyfriends/ friends she had dated. This book is written in the format of almost what I would call a "statement collection" as it follows through the accounts of what Addison's whole life was like in first hand accounts from family, friends , boyfriends, teachers, artists - everyone whom Addison had touched and shared her life with. What was also interesting about this book was that it was written during her death investigation and as we read , we wondered whether it was murder , a crime of passion or suicide.
The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone was a very interesting book and if you are in the mood to try something new and a new format or is interested in writing your own book and want to discover how Adele Griffin wrote this novel , then add now to your TBR Lists.
