Review: The Competition - Marcia Clark

Review: The Competition - Book #4 Rachel McKnight Series - Marcia Clark - July 2014

One of my favourite topics to read about is School Shootings , not in a creepy way but I find them quite interesting and have always wondered about what makes a person snap. The latest in the Rachel McKnight DA series is about "shootings". The first shooting happens during a pep rally at a high school and is seen as worst than Columbine and Sandy Hook which are true events that did occur and are also talked about in The Competition. With approx thirty dead and the so-called killers dead, it looks like it will be an open and shut case, but when Rachel arrives on the scene with the criminal forensic analyst , they will notice that it is anything but simple as the dead person isn't their killer - though all roads point to him. Now we read as Rachel races against the clock to find out who the killer is and why he/she is killing and even worst is that if she doesn't find out in time - they will keep on killing while leaving clues of their next target in letters for Rachel. A game of cat and mouse.
The Competition was a fast-paced novel and those who love TV Shows like Criminal Minds, NCIS and Motive will enjoy Marcia Clark's series. Also fans of Sean Slater , Lisa Scottoline and Jodi Picoult will enjoy Marcia Clark as an author.
