Review: Perfect For You - Ashelyn Drake - September 2014

After having her heart ripped out and stomped on , Meg Flannigan is now in the place to settle down and finally find her happiness again as she has a great friend in Grayson and the best boyfriend a girl could ask for - Ash - the school's quarterback and football star. This should have been a relaxing year where Meg didn't have to worry about girls stealing boyfriends and hearts being broken. That is until the guy she has had a crush on for like ever Noah starts to pay Meg a bit more attention and soon tells her that he is in love with her. Meg enjoying Noah's friendship and plus she has told Noah repeatedly that she has Ash for a boyfriend sees no harm in "hanging out". But what will happen when Ash gets jealous and newcomer Freshmen Liz has her eyes set on Ash ? Will this put a damper on their relationship especially when Ash tells Meg to stay away from Noah and he will stay away from Liz ? What happens though when Meg finds out that Liz won't stay away from Ash though and the claws come out ? Just to go and make things more complicated, the guy who broke her heart into a million pieces and the one that has made her wary of all guys - Derrick has just returned back to school and wants Meg back too ?

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
