The Bobos Babes are back, remember we met them last year in a Halloween read when they decided to go trick or treating and dressed up in crazy costumes. The princesses in this book are seated down having a very royal breakfast with their parents the King and Queen when one of them burps and the others laugh etc. This sets the King hiring the Elegant Emu to teach his princesses manners as Princesses should be little ladies not burping and farting at the dinner table. This was a cute fun story which shows readers how princesses and little girls should act like Ladies. I have to admit these sorts of books aren't my favourite as I get where they are coming from but think that this type of thinking is now old-fashioned and though girls should be girls and not act like boys - bodily functions etc are just parts of life and they shouldn't be made to feel ashamed for them as for boys - it seems like it's ok but when girls do it, they are really frowned upon and often scolded for it. Overall, though, this was a cute princessy read and I can see where the author was coming from. Also, if you love animals, then The Elegant Emu is a good read and a fun way to teach your child (both boys and girls) how to have good manners.
This book is the perfect read for children aged between 5-9 years old.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
