Review: Off Limits - Chloe Walsh

Review: Off Limits - Book #1 Faking It - Chloe Walsh - January 2017

Every year I try and read a few authors and their backlists, one of my 2024 authors is Chloe Walsh.  I started this one on Saturday as I was in line for the Blink 182 concert and waiting for it to begin, the perfect thing to do when you have the Libby App on your cellphone. Off Limits was a quick read and one of the brother's best friends and fake romance reads. The book introduces us to siblings Jackson and his little sister Andi - there is only a year difference but Andi is your bookworm and introvert and is still under her parents' thumb and following their rules, whereas Jackson is not afraid to stand up to his parents and do his own thing. The best friend is Nate aka Nathan who Andi aka Adriana has been in love with ever since she was 13 years old. Nate has an annoying ex-girlfriend who he is trying to shake off and Jackson and Ivy- Andi's friend decide to tell them to fake date. The thing is though that there is actual chemistry between Nate and Andi and things get heated between the pair of them. Can they continue their relationship behind closed doors or will they be exposed and be forced apart? Off Limits had a cliffhanger and was an OMG I didn't see that coming and was such a good ending that I had to read it twice. I am now looking forward to reading Book #2 though, not sure how Andi and Nate will move past this cliffhanger ending without a lot of work as it was a big "thing".
