Review: Touch and Go - Lisa Gardner - February 2013
Every now and again admist all the Teen fiction , Christian fiction and light-hearted books ,I love to sit down and read a good mystery novel. One that will get my blood pumping and keep me on my toes in anticipation. Today's was the latest release by Lisa Gardner Touch and Go and that is the case with her new storyline. A wealthy family just like that vanishes in the middle of the night , no warning , no ransom. They are gone just like that. Police are called in when the Denbe Family is reported missing. Justin Denbe is worth alot of money Dead or Alive and it seems that somebody is trying to achieve that goal. In Touch and Go we follow Justin, Libby and their daughter Ashlyn as they go through terror, nightmares and fight to stay alive and on the other side we read as the police, FBI and investigators try and discover what has really happened to Justin and his family. What will happen next is a series of dark secrets , lies and fantasies will all be unearthed as Tessa Leoni tries to get to the bottom of what is happening.
Touch and Go was a complex and exciting novel and a book where you realise that not everyone is perfect and the person standing right next to you could be keeping the darkest of secrets hidden no matter how well you know them.
