Review: Betrayal - Book #2 Empty Coffins Series - Gregg Olsen - September 2012
Gone are the joys of a quiet community where nothing happens as it seems that Death is upon this small community. Back are the Ryan twins - Hayley and Taylor and with them comes their gifts and knack at solving incidents. Moving closer to the truth of what they can do and all about it, it leads them to a shoebox in their mothers wardrobe - a box filled with newpaper clippings from the Bus Crash - which will be revealed if the crash was an accident or something more sinister ? In the box , they also find clippings of a young girl named Valerie who went missing from the Prison, during an electrical fault. Who is this girl and how is she connected to the Ryan family ?
In other news, murder and death has struck this comuunity once again and this time the victim is an exchange student from the UK - Olivia . Was Olivia the intended victim or was it a case of mistaken identity ? If Olivia , wasn't the target then is somebody out there waiting to be slaughtered next ? Who killed Olivia and why - was it Bree and her boyfriend Darren ? With their spidey instincts tingling and random texts - it now looks like its up to the Ryan twins to once again solve the day and make it look like the police have done their work using their excellent investigation skills.
Once again, another amazing book and I look forward to reading more in the Empty Coffins series as they are released.
