Review: Engaged to the EMT - Piper Rayne

Engaged to the EMT (Blue Collar Brothers, #3)

Review: Engaged to the EMT - Book #3 Blue Collar Brothers Series - Piper Rayne - December 2018

Last but not least is Luca Bianco, the last of our three brothers who were won in the auction. As always the duo that is Piper Rayne does not disappoint as I still find myself invested in their books as I love the strong family dynamics and the friendships the characters have. I find that Piper Rayne writes connections very well. In Book #3, we have the youngest brother Luca and the last remaining friend Lauren. Ever since they were in high school, Luca and Lauren have been at each other's throats trying to outdo the other. These two thrive on competition and being the best, which is why they could never work -right? When Mrs. Bianco falls ill, her dream is to see her youngest boy engaged, which results in a bit of arm-twisting on Lauren's side, but we have a fake engagement created between Luca and Lauren. The thing is though that like most fake engagements and relationships, lines can start to get blurred and feelings that started false can turn real pretty quickly.  Can Luca and Lauren clear the air with one another before one of them gets hurt and fast? I also liked this book as we were introduced to the Bianco's cousins who will be featured in a new series by Piper Rayne called White Collar Cousins. Another of the things that I enjoy about Piper's different series is they often have characters crossing over the books, so you never have to say goodbye to your favorite characters ultimately.
