Do you love mystery novels ? Are you a fan of books like the Stephanie Plum Series ? Did you when you were younger have a yearning to be either Harriet the Spy like myself or Dirty Harry?
Review: Trail of the Spellmans - Book #5 The Spellman Files - Lisa Lutz - February 2012
This is a series that I have really enjoyed for a long time now as each book provides not only the factor of mystery and intrigue , suspense and the occasional thrill as well as lighthearted humour. In Book #5 we discover that the oldest brother David has undergone a completely new transformation from sharp lawyer to stay-at-home dad and Rae is still dealing in her money-making ventures , Izzy is still continously getting into trouble with her parents but has she pushed it too far when her dad decides to fire her from the family business ? What will happen though , when Izzy decides that she doesn't want to leave the PI business as its the only thing she is good at ? What is happening with Mama Spellman as she seems to be filling her social calendar up with different classes - a bit like Walter the nightguard on Bones Season Six. Trail of the Spellmans is another wonderful installment of the Spellman files , It is however a book that I don't recommend anyone to read unless they have first read the previous four books in the series as it wont make any sense to the reader.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
