Review: Troy High - Shana Norris - August 2009
Are you looking for a Trojan Vs Spartan rendition to start off your day ? Do you consider yourself the King or Queen of pranks? I have to say that I adore books that are of contemporary and modern renditions and though I did enjoy the story of Troy High, I also at the same time found it irritable as the story starts off with a long standing feud between Troy High -home of the Trojans and Lacede High - home of the Spartans. The story then moves on to become a relationship love triangle between Perry - Trojan , Lucas - Spartan and Elena - a former Spartan turned Trojan as the school zones were currently redesigned. The love feud soon becomes a full-on brawl filled with pranks, hurt and anger with full guns a'blazing and lines drawn and crossed. Cassie Prince , younger sister of two of the most popular Trojans Perry and Hunter feels torn between where her loyalty lies as she is in love with her best friend Greg - a Spartan and Lucas's younger brother.
Will things get sorted or will Cassie have to finally take a stand and decide once and for all where her loyalty lies and whether standing up for yourself is worth it, no matter what the consequences that follow may be ?
A light-hearted novel , that won't require too much thinking as between the covers it really is just a novel of revenge - a dish served best with laxatives.
