Review: No Going Back - Book #2 Timing is Everything Series - Erika Ashby -July 2013

Seth James is one of those guys that know that life isn't made of fairytales and all sugar and spice. He knows that with life comes trials and tribulations. Years ago , he was dumped by someone who he thought he loved who had run off with his baby. Later he discovered that she had been paid off to have an abortion. Just as he is now getting his life back on track and met someone who he loves , he is ready to settle down. However, again life has different plans for Seth as his ex -the one who ran off comes back and has told him that his daughter is well alive and been living in care and the only way to get her back is if they marry. Seth agrees for the sake of his child, however once again he will discover how manipulative she really is and the lengths she will go to trap him. Can Seth go back to his current life and back to the one he really loves and will he finally realise that heading back into the past should be a "No Going Back" area ? 
What I loved about No Going Back was the fact that Erika Ashby has written the book from mainly Seth's POV and from the male perspective which is nice for a change especially when it is done the right way as she has crafted.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
