Like Candy (Candy, #1)

Review: Like Candy - Book #1 The Candy Series - Debra Doxer - July 2015

After celebrating her 18th birthday, Candy decided that it was time to move on with her life and leave the house she hated and move back with her Dad as now turning 18 her Aunt Marion couldn't whisk her away like she did when Candy was younger and her mother had just passed away. Candy only has one career goal in mind, she wants to be just like her dad who is an assassin who kills with the justification that what he is doing is best for the bigger picture. Candy enrols in the local high school and slips with the popular crowd and there is one guy whom she feels attracted to Jonah. He is the one guy everyone wants but he has never shown a true interest in dating or any girls in particular - except Candy and the pair become fast friends. What will happen though when strange things start happening in Candy's life and it seems that this time her father's work has followed them home and Candy is in possible danger ? When incidents start happening , who can Candy trust ? What will happen though with a twist of events lead her to her hand on the trigger and face to face with someone she thought she could trust the most ?
Find out in this Action-Adventure by Debra Doxer that fans of Spygirl books and Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter will enjoy.
