Review: Dirty Rowdy Thing - Book #2 Wild Seasons - Christina Lauren- November 2014
Wanting an New Adult story with a more raunchier borderline erotic storyline ? Despite their passionate action and their amazing sizzling sexual escapades , Harlow and Finn are not great as husband and wife. After all the pair of them only lasted 12 hours after a drunken night of mayhem and mishaps caused the pair of them to tie the knot in a Las Vegas 24hr wedding chapel. After deciding they both made a mistake, they went their separate ways and then eventually ended up each other's booty calls when the going got tough and they needed someone to be able to hit just the right spot. A few years later, Harlow has had the worst night and her sexual appetite was definitely not fulfilled and she wanders into a Starbucks as Coffee is better than no Coffee, when she hears a familiar voice . She turns around and comes face to face with none other than Finn. He is here in town for business and their mutual friend Oliver's comic book opening in San Franscisco. I liked this as I think it would be pretty wicked to open up a comic book store, yes I am a self-proclaimed comic book geekster. During this time Harlow recieves some upsetting news , her mother has breast cancer and needs to go into surgery and have chemo. Needing the distraction, she turns to Finn and once again their sexual desires and needs are again fulfilled. Sex is a good distraction for Finn as well as his family business is suffering and he's trying to save it as much as he can but to be honest, he feels like he may be on their last straw. What will happen though when their feelings start to actually develop pass just wanting great sex ? Can this wild and independent pair make it pass just great sex ? Are Harlow and Finn, when it comes to the crunch really relationship material ? When it comes down to it , anything can happen in these Wild Seasons.
