Review: Pretty Little Savage - Book #1 Sick Boys Series - Lucy Smoke - October 2020

Some days you read books that are just a bit blah or feel like something you've read multiple times, a familiar storyline. Whereas other days, you pick up a book and find yourself getting lost in the pages and when it ends on a cliffhanger, you are like Nooooooooo !!! as you have to wait impatiently for the next book to come out which in this case doesn't get released till January 2021. Pretty Little Savage started like most bully romances except this one had an awesome strong kick-butting female character Avalon Manning, who never took no for an answer and didn't let anyone control her or her actions. She grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with her druggie/stripper mother in a trailer park and has been kicked out of 4-5 schools when she is offered an opportunity of a lifetime. Attend a wealthy private school Eastpoint Academy - all expenses paid ride. With nowhere else to go, Avalon reluctantly agrees and now is at the school which is run by three boys nicknamed "The Sick Boys". These boys aren't used to anyone not doing what they ask them to do and Avalon it seems is disrupting the flow and making trouble for them. Normally they would aim to get rid of her and make her disappear like the others they couldn't control, but the boys' fathers who are mighty and powerful want her for a reason and now the boys have to do whatever they can to make her stay, even if it means having to try and break her down using whatever means they can. If you love edgy reads and looking for a book to keep you intrigued and wanting more, then check out Pretty Little Savage as you will not be disappointed. Though be forewarned, you will be wanting the next book as soon as you finish this and it is yet to be published and released.
