Review: Catch Me - Lisa Gardner

Wanting a new mystery novel to read ?
Review: Catch Me - Detective DD Series Book #6 - Lisa Gardner - February 2012
It seems like ages since I've last read in a mystery book and in the last couple of days , I've read two and have another one sitting on my pile to read. I have to say I just love reading serial killer novels and lately a few by my favourite authors have been released which makes a change from reading fantasy/supernatural novels.
In "Catch Me" we meet Charlie , she has four days to live and then she will fall prey to a killer who on January 21st the previous two years killed her best friends Randi and Jackie. When she contacts a detective to help solve her murder before she is dead , Charlie finds herself embroiled in another murder case or should I say cases as somebody is going around killing peodiphiles and the somebody looks eerily similar to Charlie. It seems though that Charlie has had a hard life and her past, the one she has tried so hard to block out will catch up with her as the killer we discover has connections that run very deep with Charlie and the killer as we won't stop until Charlie is within the clutches of death.  Can one person really train their entire life to stop murder from occuring and can one really escape death ?
In Catch Me , Lisa Gardner also explores the issues of Muchanausen by Proxy and Domestic Violence.
