From the darkness of emotional and/or physical pains we crawled out and eventually found a way to dust ourselves off and carry on with life.

So let these stories serve as a guide, that all that glitters is not always gold. That the felling of the hairs rising on the back of your neck is a warning, a primal scream to let us know that some things are not as they seem. Trust your gut. Yes, some people are worth fighting for but others have somehow tricked us into seeing a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

With hindsight fully engaged, we can now see the clarity of our past and appreciate the lessons we learned in our very own happily never after.

1. I’ve given my favorite cat, Sophie, the affectionately vulgar nickname ‘Shittus’. She thinks that’s her real name. That’s okay, her sister Lucy thinks her name is Goose.

2. I play Minecraft and MMORPGs with my husband.

3. I have a profound love for tattoos and body piercings and have several of my own.

4. I was born in California, but I have not lived there since I was an infant and I have only visited once for just three short days.

5. I’m petrified of natural disasters.

About the Author-

Emilie E. Faye is a young house-wife with huge dreams and lives in Wisconsin with her husband and their six feline fur-children. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and body modification and her beverage of choice is sweet tea. Emilie was born in California to a young sailor and his wife and has since moved all over the coastal U.S. and even to Guam. Now she’s settled down and has finally decided to tackle her dreams of being an author. When Emilie isn’t writing, she happily spends her time editing, reading, watching movies on Netflix, and listening to music from various genres.
