Review: Always Watching - Chevy Stevens - June 2013

Nadine has spent a lifetime running away from her own demons and a past in which she can't remember all the details. However, her past is about to come back and haunt her at full-speed when a new patient arrives at the pysch unit where she works.  Hannah is part of a spiritual commune/cult down in Vancouver. She has become convinced that they are after her, Nadine doesn't think much of it until she hears the name "Aaron Quinn" - he is the cult's director. Nadine then starts to encounter flashbacks to her past , as when her and her brother were younger - their mother ran them away to a commune run by Joseph and Aaron Quinn. It is here that Nadine spent most of her teenage years , until her father came to collect them one night.  When Hannah ends up committing suicide, Nadine discovers that she needs answers and won't stop looking for them until she knows it all. However, what happens when Nadine discovers the true reason behind her memory loss and claustrophobia problems ? Can Nadine carry on with her vengeance against Aaron especially when his new "recruit" happens to be Nadine's estranged daughter Lisa who has her fair share of demons and dark, hidden secrets ?
Always Watching was a great mystery novel and has helped me to discover a new author to add to my liking list. So Phantom Paragrapher readers, if you are needing a new author to discover - check out "Chevy Stevens".
