Cards of Love: The Devil

Review: The Devil - #Cards of Love Collection/ Book #1 Devil's Playground Series  - Ashley Jade - November 2018

Do you want a quick sexy read? Ashley Jade's book plays on the whole biblical sense of the Devil as we have our main female character - Eden, and then the two main male leads are Damien and Cain.  Eden is nearing eighteen, and after living a life of seclusion as she has agoraphobia, she is getting closer to experiencing life. Her mother is dead, and now she is in the care of her stepfather, Cain. For years she has been in love with Cain, and a few instances have happened which shows he cares about her too. However, Cain can't be found in the middle of a scandal as he is running for Senator and being in the politics game, the slightest embarrassment can come to light, and he has a few skeletons and dark secrets that need to stay hidden as they could ruin and destroy him.  A few of those secrets he shares with Damien, and after a fallout, Damien is back and wants to ruin Cain once and for all and is willing to play and destroy the one thing Cain loves the most or at least cares for - Eden. Is Eden ready to be a pawn in the Devil's playground? The Devil was a quick read and made way for Ashley Jade's series The Devil's Playground.
