Review: Buffy the High School Years : Glutton for Punishment
Review: Buffy the High School Years - Glutton for Punishment - Book #2 - Kel McDonald, Yishan Li and Joss Whedon - November 2016
After enjoying the first Graphic novel in the Buffy the
High School Years, I knew I had to read the next one as I was hooked. Back in
the day, I was a huge Buffy and Angel fan and loved watching the TV show Buffy
the Vampire Slayer. I even have a Willow and Spike Pop Funko. In Glutton for
Punishment, Buffy and her friends are told that if they wish to push up their
grades in their worst subjects, they can
take an extra-curricular course. Buffy
doesn't have time for much of any spare time,
and her grades could do with some improving especially in History. Buffy and
Xander choose to take Home Economics while Willow chooses Art. This class would
have been easy and straightforward, but
they have a new teacher and things aren't adding up as people are going missing
and their new Home Ec teacher seems obsessed with food and sweets. It turns out that he is a Sabretooth shifter
with a sweet tooth for pastries. Can Buffy put her slaying skills to the test
and save her friends and the school from the new Tiger invasion before more
class members disappear including her best friend,
Xander ?
Find out in Book #2 Glutton for Punishment - part of the
Buffy the High School Years. I am now looking forward to reading the next
Volume in this graphic novel series.
