Review: Roxie - Book #3 Triple X Series - Kimberly Dean - July 2014

The last year for Roxie has been pretty amazing and out of this world as after a billboard of her picture representing her new bar "The Ruckus" caused her to discover that she had a sister and not just one sister but two and even more was that they were all identical triplets. There is Maxie - the sweet sister and Lexie - the business type and now of course Roxie - the free-spirited one. On the opening night of the Ruckus as her own , in walks a hunky guy and it turns out that the guy is none other than Roxie's ex-husband Billy Cannon. Life just got complicated as whenever she is around Billy, the chemistry sizzles "hot stuff'. The three of them Lexie, Maxie and Roxie have been searching the last few months since they met to discover who their birth parents are and why they were given up as for Lexie and Maxie - they managed to have a good home and were adopted but for Roxie - her placement fell through and she was bounced throughout the foster system till she escaped from it when she was sixteen , when she married Billy.  Near the end of the novel, a stranger walks into the bar  Roux , there is something about him that Roxie finds familiar and soothing and turns out he may be the very key to helping Roxie and her sisters find their birth family and an added twist occurs with Roxie and Billy.  If you love stories of reunions and family discoveries , then the "Triple X" series is for you.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
