Review: Whispers at Moonrise - C.C Hunter

Kylie has finally been visited by her actual Grandparents - Daniel's real parents Malcolm and Heidi and has discovered that she is a chameleon. Though the way she handles the news gets me a bit irritated as she deciphers it to think she is a shape-shifting lizard and not in the way it means - that she can harness other powers when she is near them and disguise her true self from the world as the chameleons are one of those ultra-rare supernatural types as there is only a few left in the world. When John, who has been spending time with her mum decides tests should be run, can Burnett and Holiday help save Kylie from becoming a test dummy as this is how her grandmother Heidi died and was killed and of course Kylie doesn't want to suffer the same fate at the hands of the FRU. In Book #4 Kylie has been seeing a ghost with someone she cares about face , is this ghost real or is it a pre-warning that someone she loves is going to be killed ? Also in Book #4 we uncover more drama in the love triangle that is Lucas, Kylie and Derek as Kylie has been spending more time with Lucas and readers wonder if she has finally made her choice on which guy she wishes to be with . Then  Lucas's sister shows up and his Dad and we start wondering what's going to happen and then at the end of the book - readers are given a shock as Kylie witnesses a marriage union between two of the characters at Shadow Falls. Which two are getting married and will it be a surprise matrimony or one we have seen brewing about in previous books ?
At the end of this book as well, Kylie will be forced to make a choice on whether she stays or leaves Shadow Falls and what to do with her newfound information on her ability as it continues to flourish and grow.
Find out all this and more in Book #4 of Shadow Falls Series and stay tuned as I read and review Book #5.
