Review: Elements of Mischief - Book #1 Hijinks Harem Series - Tate James and CM Stunich - October 2017
Lately, I have been on a reverse harem blitz, and I have quite enjoyed CM Stunich as an author, so when I saw a request for Elements of Mischief, it sounded like something that I would enjoy.  In Elements of Mischief we have Arizona Smoke who has just inherited her grandmother's old mansion, and yes her grandmother's ghost haunts the place. In the first chapter, we read as Arizona is having trouble with the plumbing and is referred to Shane and his friends. They arrive and are doing their thing when Arizona walks in on them and is in for the fright of her life as they aren't exactly human. Shane and his three friends are Elemental dragons, and now that Arizona has seen them in their dragon form, she will realize that she has now entered herself into a contract for life as she is now referred to as a Shimmer. Now Arizona is a shimmer, to live and not be killed and hunted down she must mate with not one but all four of them. If that wasn't bad enough, Arizona is about to discover that her best friend Britt is a Werewolf.  I have to admit I wasn't overly impressed with this book and I wonder if it was the paranormal spin rather than the reverse harem as lately Paranormal books haven't been sticking with me and I struggled through Elements of Mischief. On the other hand, if you do love Paranormal and in the mood for a Reverse Harem, then check out Book #1 of the Hijinks Harem series by Tate James and CM Stunich as you will be in for one heck of a ride as who wouldn't be with four extremely hot yummy Dragon shifting guys.

  Review: Punk 57 - Penelope Douglas - October 2016 As soon as I read Bully by Penelope Douglas, I was in love with this author. So when she released a new one who had my favorite theme of penpals and that whole friend to lovers going on, I knew I had to read it. The book started out with a bit of background where we learned about how Misha and Ryen were placed together in a classroom project penpal program. The pair continues to write to each other right through the year, and then they take it to the next level and continue through the rest of their schooling.
