Each of the family members have been looking forward to this adventure ,each with an agenda of their own. Harrison, a language lingusitic is on the search for cave markings , Stephanie -wants to take beautiful pictures of the cave's insides , Nadia - can't wait to discover the different rocks and minerals and wants to find one that matches her green eyes and for Aiden the highlight is seeing the bats - as a favourite superhero of his was inspired by Bats galore, though im certain his cave was more modernised than the one the Wright family are exploring. When searching, the family find a mysterious object that looks kind of like a mini IPOD in the wall with a strange Marking of a turtle like creature - have the Wright family discovered a Mayan artifact or is somebody messing with them ? . Find out in the next book as they drive to their next destination of Utah and with the help of some family friends discover what the mysterious object is and what it contains. The Series "Wright on Time " is an excellent series that at the same time as being a fun and enjoyable read also provides an educational factor as the readers are taught about the states along with facts provided. Being from New Zealand , I will have to say that when reading this book , you could tell it was definitley an American based novel as the illustrations and writing screams American but due to the settings , this was a good thing that suited the series in a good way.
